Based on building a skill set that has the equivalent value of an empty line on a resume, the performances in arbitrary self-improvement draw comparisons between the banality of task-based cubical culture and the uselessness of those skills outside the workplace. The series mimics the absurdity of the tasks within the office but removes all aspects of perceived progress or functionality. Arbitrary self-improvement seeks to explore and develop an environment exclusive to useless skills.
